Located in El Calafate, close to the Perito Moreno Glacier, is this new inn, Hosteria Los Hielos. Just 2.5 km from the centre of town, on the Redonday Bay, the wood and stone building has been created to allow guests wonderful views of Patagonic beauty: lakes, summits, ice and magnificent landscapes. The woods used in construction of the inn include lengas from Ushuaia and cypress from The Bolson. There are ten standard rooms and two superior rooms on two levels. All have large windows, handcrafted furniture, comfortable beds, DDI telephones, WIFI, television, fridge, hairdryer and - in the superior rooms - hydro massage tubs. Breakfast is served buffet-style, with a good selection of fruits of the region and at dinner, you may enjoy typical lamb from the spit and other regional dishes accompanied by the best Argentinian wines.
